Spartan Land Works
Tree Removal for Land, Lots & Fence Lines
Leaning, dead and in-the-way trees taken down and cleaned up on acreage, lots, fence lines and driveways.
Trees in the wrong place
A dead pine leaning toward the barn, a row of trees where the driveway needs to go, a hackberry that's grown up through the fence. Spartan Land Works takes down problem trees on open land and lots, then cleans up the mess with a grapple so you're not left with a pile of limbs.

Tree removal we handle
- Dead, dying and leaning trees in fields, wood lines and lots
- Trees in the way of a house site, driveway, shop or fence
- Trees grown up in fence rows
- Downed and storm-damaged trees on the ground
- Cleanup: limbs, logs and brush piled or hauled off
What we don't do
We'll tell you straight when a tree needs a different kind of crew. Trees hanging over a house, tangled in power lines, or in tight spots that need climbing or a crane are jobs for a certified arborist or the utility company. Our work is on land with room to drop a tree safely. If yours isn't one of those, we'll say so and point you in the right direction.
Stumps
We cut trees low. Stump grinding or digging out stumps for a building pad is a separate job. Tell us what you plan to do with the spot and we'll help you figure out the cheapest way to get there.
Where we remove trees
We work across Hernando, Olive Branch, Southaven and Horn Lake, Nesbit, Lake Cormorant and Walls, Tate County and Marshall County.

Common questions
Do you remove trees near houses?
Our focus is trees on open land, lots and fence lines with room to fall safely. For trees over a house or near power lines, we recommend a certified arborist.
Do you grind stumps?
Stump grinding is a separate service. We cut trees low and can help you plan stump removal if you need it for building.
Can I keep the firewood?
Sure. We can cut logs to length and leave them stacked for you instead of hauling them off.
How much does it cost to remove a tree?
It depends on the size, the lean, what's near it, and the cleanup. Send photos for a ballpark or set up a free site visit for a written price.
